Research interests
Research interests focuses on the fundamental physical and chemical processes underlying photoelectrochemical water splitting, with an emphasis on designing photoelectrodes featuring vertically aligned, hierarchical metal-oxide nanostructures to enhance light absorption and interfacial charge transfer dynamics. Additional work includes the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles, exploring their size-dependent optical, electrical, and antibacterial properties for use in transparent conductive substrates and biocidal surfaces. Research also involves developing advanced energy storage devices, including Li-ion batteries, with a focus on optimizing electrode materials and charge/discharge mechanisms. Further efforts are directed toward enhancing energy harvesting efficiency in piezoelectric and triboelectric nanogenerators by investigating material properties and device architectures.
