Repository Policy
1. Introduction
The Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics is committed to the principles of open access and strives for the widest dissemination, increased visibility, and impact of the research we publish. We actively support and encourage our authors to share their work by depositing articles in institutional and other repositories of their choice. This policy outlines how authors may archive and disseminate different versions of their articles published in the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics.
Our repository policy is transparent and author-friendly, in accordance with the terms of the CC BY license, under which authors retain copyright.
2. Article Version Definitions
To ensure clarity, the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics defines the following article versions for the purposes of this policy:

Submitted Version (Preprint): The original manuscript submitted by the author to the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics before peer review.

Accepted Version (Author Accepted Manuscript – AAM / Postprint): The version of the manuscript that has been accepted for publication by the journal following successful peer review, incorporating all revisions made in response to reviewers’ comments, but prior to copyediting, typesetting, and final formatting.

Published Version (Version of Record – VoR): The final, citable version of the article as published by the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics, including copyediting, typesetting, formatting, and assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
3. Repository Archiving Policy
The Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics allows authors to deposit all versions of their articles in repositories, provided the following conditions are met. This policy applies equally to the submitted, accepted, and published versions.
For all versions (submitted, accepted, and published):

Embargo: No embargo period is applied. Authors may deposit these versions immediately.

License: The applicable license for accepted and published versions is CC BY. Preprints (submitted versions) may be distributed under any terms chosen by the author prior to any agreement with the journal; however, after publication in the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics, the CC BY license governs subsequent versions.

Copyright Holder: Copyright remains with the authors.

4. General Guidelines and Author Responsibilities

Author Responsibility: Authors are responsible for ensuring that their self-archiving practices comply with this policy, the CC BY license, and any applicable institutional or funder requirements.

Version Identification: Authors must clearly specify which version of the article is being deposited (e.g., "Submitted Version/Preprint," "Accepted Manuscript," or "Published Version/Version of Record") to help readers understand the article’s status.

Commercial Use Restriction: Authors and users should note that the CC BY license applied by the Uzbek Journal of Modern Physics restricts reuse to non-commercial purposes. Any commercial use requires separate permission from the copyright holders (authors).
